Teresa Sacks is an award winning Portrait Artist who specializes in capturing moments that you want to remember forever. Her love of children has led her to become one of Jacksonville’s Premier Children and Family Portrait Photographers. Word of mouth has been her best advertisement, as her clients share their experiences with friends and family. She feels very blessed and privileged to be able to share in the lives of her clients and watch as their families grow and change…from engagement, to marriage, and then to their children, or other special events in their lives. She loves the classic look of black and white or sepia, also hand-tinting portraits. She loves to work outdoors, and has a beautiful garden studio with brick sidewalks, arbors, roses and ponds. Her style is very romantic and storytelling, capturing the essence of those she photographs in a natural way, and letting their personality shine through. She prefers to capture images as they happen as opposed to trying to “pose” everything, this gives you such a more accurate representation of the subject than trying to get them to sit still and smile at the camera. She loves to see people interact in their relationships…siblings, parents and children, bride and groom…and to capture those moments of love as they happen.
